Anyone who is acquainted with recent developments in Trinitarian theology could scarcely pass over Fr. Gilles Emery, O.P. Beginning with his La Trinité Créatrice (Paris: Vrin, 1995), the Author has produced a series of first-rate works on Aquinas’ Trinitarian theology. Amongst others, there is his Trinity in Aquinas (Ypsilanti: Sapientia, 2003), or more recently The Trinitarian Theology of St. Thomas Aquinas (Oxford: University Press, 2007).
