O Grundaxiom de Karl Rahner na leitura tomista de Gilles Emery

Resumo

A análise alternativa feita por Gilles Emery ao Grundaxiom de Karl Rahner, com base na teologia trinitária tomista é uma das leituras mais interessantes e profundas, entre inúmeras outras. Apesar do enorme impacto do axioma fundamental do teólogo de Innsbruck, e da novidade que parecia trazer à Teologia Trinitária do século XX, o tempo revelou aspectos passíveis de interpretações distintas, que resultaram numa incontável coleção de comentários ao “axioma fundamental” de Rahner. No entanto, apresentá-lo e compará-lo com o método tomista torna-se algo inédito, ou ao menos, pouco divulgado. É nessa perspectiva que optamos por expor as considerações realizadas por Gilles Emery, à luz dos ensinamentos de São Tomás de Aquino, a respeito do Grundaxiom, por seus importantes argumentos e ressalvas, permitindo-nos uma melhor compreensão de uma temática teológica tão relevante como a das missões trinitárias. /// The alternative analysis of Gilles Emery of Karl Rahner’s Grundaxiom, based on Thomistic Trinitarian Theology is one of the most interesting and profound readings, among myriad others. In spite of the tremendous impact of the fundamental axiom of the theologian of Innsbruck and the novelty that it seemed to bring to Trinitarian Theology of the twentieth century, time revealed aspects open to different interpretations that resulted in a vast accumulation of commentaries on Rahner’s “fundamental axiom”. Notwithstanding, to present it and compare it with the Thomistic method becomes something unique, or at least, little divulged. It is in this perspective, that we choose to expound upon the considerations of Gilles Emery with regard to the Grundaxiom, in the light of the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas, due to his important arguments and caveats, affording us a better understanding of a theological theme which is as relevant as that of the Trinitarian missions.
