Magisterio de la Iglesia hoy, y Santo Tomás de Aquino

Resumo

Esta contribución se focaliza sobre la relación entre el Magisterio de la Iglesia desde el papa León XIII hasta el papa Francisco y la persona y obra de Santo Tomás de Aquino. Se examinan por eso algunos de los textos más significativos de la enseñanza de los recientes Pontífices sobre el pensamiento del Doctor Communis tratando de mostrar por un lado la continuidad convencida de la común referencia al Angélico, y por otro lado algunas características propias. El Aquinate es considerado como un modelo ejemplar, un bien precioso para la Iglesia y la sociedad humana de hoy y de mañana.

This contribution focuses on the relationship between the Magisterium of the Church from Pope Leo XIII to Pope Francis, and the person and work of Saint Thomas Aquinas. For this reason, some of the most significant texts of the teachings of recent Pontiffs on the thought of the Doctor Communis are examined, demonstrating on one hand the strong continuity of common reference to the
Angelic Doctor, while on the other hand some of their own characteristics. Thomas Aquinas is considered an exemplary model, a precious gift for the Church and human society today and tomorrow.
