Teologia do caráter sacramental: aspectos de uma análise diacrônica à luz da Tradição e do Magistério

Resumo

Este trabalho apresenta alguns aspectos de uma análise diacrônica a respeito da teologia do caráter sacramental à luz da Tradição e do Magistério. Para atingir esta finalidade, usou-se como base bibliográfica primária a obra de Antonio Miralles: Los Sacramentos Cristianos: Curso de Sacramentaria Fundamental, que, na opinião dos autores, compõe uma síntese a respeito desta temática. As pesquisas nas áreas da Patrística, Escolástica e nos documentos da Igreja serviram de fundamentação teórica para este estudo. Outras obras e manuais de teologia que tratam do assunto também foram adotados. Empregaram-se ensaios de vários autores e comentaristas do tema, que ajudaram a complementar a análise. A fim de ter um estudo coeso e sistemático, dividiu-se o trabalho em três pontos. No primeiro trata-se de uma análise da doutrina basilar da teologia do caráter sacramental nas Sagradas Escrituras e na Tradição. Em segundo lugar, é estudada a doutrina fundamental da temática, analisando-se a contribuição de São Tomás de Aquino. Por último, na terceira parte, examina-se o ensinamento do Magistério a respeito da matéria. Ao terminar este trabalho, conclui-se que o tema do caráter sacramental, mesmo tendo sido tratado nos mais diversos períodos da história, até agora tem ocupado um posto pouco relevante na hierarquia do ensino teológico das verdades da Fé. /// This paper presents some aspects of a diachronic analysis on the theology of sacramental character from Tradition and the Magisterium. To achieve this purpose, the work of Antonio Miralles, Los Sacramentos Cristianos: Curso de Sacramentaria Fundamental, was used as the primary bibliographic basis, which, according to the view of the authors, composes a synthesis on this theme. Research in the areas of Patristics, Scholasticism and Church documents served as a theoretical basis for this study. Other works and theological manuals dealing with the subject were also adopted. Essays of several authors and commentators on this subject who helped to complement the analysis were also used. In order to have a cohesive and systematic study, the work was divided into three chapters. In the first one, an analysis of the basic doctrine of the theology of the sacramental character from the Sacred Scriptures and the Tradition is achieved. In the second chapter, after studying the fundamental doctrine of the subject, the contribution of St. Thomas Aquinas in this field is studied. Finally, in the third part, the teaching of the Magisterium on this subject is evaluated. At the end of this work, it is concluded that the theme of the sacramental character, even though being dealt with in the most diverse periods of history, has so far occupied an insignificant position in the hierarchy of the theological teaching of the truths of faith.
