O sacerdócio de Cristo e o ministerial

Resumo

Este artigo versa sobre o sacerdócio ministerial e sua participação no único sacerdócio de Cristo, à luz da doutrina de São Tomás de Aquino. Começa por estabelecer um contraste entre o sacerdócio da Antiga Lei e o trazido por Jesus, Sacerdote e Vítima. Por fim, considera a necessidade da mediação entre os homens e Deus, o Sacrifício a Nova Aliança e a importância do ministro ordenado, nesse contexto. Termina com a essência do sacramento da Ordem — o caráter e a graça — segundo o Doutor Angélico. /// This article deals with the ministerial priesthood and its participation in the sole priesthood of Christ, in the light of the doctrine of Saint Thomas Aquinas. It starts by establishing a contrast between the priesthood of the Old Law, and the new order brought by Jesus, Priest and Victim. Finally, it considers the necessity of mediation between God and Man, the Sacrifice of the New Alliance and the importance of the ordained ministry in this context. It concludes with the essence of the Sacrament of Order — the character of grace — according to the Angelic Doctor.
