O preceito délfico no século XII e no scito te ipsum

Resumo

Apresento, com este artigo, uma leitura da recepção do preceito délfico pela filosofia cristã, apontando para os principais matizes segundo os quais tal preceito foi reelaborado, dentre estes a dimensão pecadora do homem, a graça infinita de Deus, a irredutibilidade da consciência humana, entre outras. Pedro Abelardo, por sua vez, durante o século XII, denominou sua obra Ethica por Scito te Ipsum, o que o insere nesta discussão; porém, o Palatino diverge da concepção de seus contemporâneos no tocante à intentio como fundamento da interioridade. /// In this article I present a reading of the reception of the Delphic precept by Christian philosophy, pointing out the main nuances with which the said precept was redeveloped, among these the sinful dimension of man, the infinite grace of God, the irreducibility of the human conscience, among others. Peter Abelard, in the 12th Century called his work on Ethics Scito te Ipsum which brings him into this discussion; however, the Palatine diverges from the conception of his contemporaries regarding the intentio as the foundation of interiority.
