El seguimiento de Cristo, Resplandor de la gloria de Dios, clave moral para interpretar el carisma de los Heraldos del Evangelio

Resumo

En este trabajo, a partir del estudio teológico-moral del paradigma del seguimiento de Cristo, en cuanto base y fundamento de la ética específicamente cristiana, se analiza la realidad moral del carisma de los Heraldos del Evangelio, en su forma característica de seguir a Cristo. En primer lugar, a partir de la historia de la Teología se muestra el desarrollo de esta disciplina hasta su plena configuración a la luz del Evangelio y del Magisterio, después del Concilio Vaticano II. Se estudia, a seguir, el fenómeno teológico de la renovación de la moral, protagonizada por la escuela redentorista y seguida por la mayoría de los autores moralistas modernos. De hecho, a partir de este evento renovador, el seguimiento de Cristo se fija explícitamente como punto de referencia casi obligatorio de la moral fundamental. También se verificará la vigencia eclesial de este paradigma a la luz de las fuentes de la Teología: la Escritura, los Padres y el Magisterio. En efecto, todas apuntan claramente en ese sentido, dando plena consistencia al paradigma del seguimiento de Cristo y realzando su lugar en la Teología Moral. Por último, el estudio del carisma de los Heraldos muestra la realidad viva de este paradigma, en cuanto vivida por una comunidad relativamente joven. El seguimiento de Cristo es el fundamento de la vida espiritual y moral de los Heraldos del Evangelio. Su estudio muestra los matices y las características de este seguimiento, abriendo la pista a una investigación teológica del seguimiento de Cristo en cuanto resplandor de la Gloria de Dios, por la vía de la belleza. /// In this study, starting from the theological-moral study of the paradigm of the following of Christ as a basis and foundation of the specifically Christian ethic, the moral reality of the charism of the Heralds of the Gospel is analyzed in its characteristic form of following Christ. Firstly, from the standpoint of the history of theology, the development of this discipline to its full configuration in light of the Gospel and the Magisterium after Vatican II is shown. Secondly, the theological phenomenon of moral renewal led by the Redemptorist school and followed by most modern moralist authors, is studied. In fact, from this event of renewal, the Following of Christ is placed explicitly as an almost obligatory reference point of fundamental morality. Also, the sources of Theology — Scripture, the Fathers and the Magisterium — clearly point in this direction, giving full consistency to the paradigm of the following of Christ and emphasizing its place in moral theology. Finally, the study of a recently charism of the Heralds shows the living reality of this paradigm, as lived out by created community. The following of Christ is the foundation of the spiritual and moral life of the Heralds of the Gospel. Studying it reveals the nuances and characteristics of this following, opening the path to a theological investigation of the following of Christ considered as the resplendence of the Glory of God, through the way of beauty.
