Apófasis y catafasis en la epistemología teológica: una hermenéutica holista a partir del enfoque tomista

Resumo

Partiendo de una hermenéutica del concepto del hilemorfismo humano como dualidad de dimensiones de una única realidad personal, se profundiza en una epistemología conducente a una actitud de apertura holista que permita armonizar los diferentes modos de conocimiento humano, desde el sensible y el simbólico hasta el puramente abstracto, el místico y el beatífico y el reconocimiento preciso de las limitaciones apofáticas, así como de las posibilidades catafáticas de dicho conocimiento. /// Starting from an interpretation of the concept of human hylemorphism as a duality of dimensions of a single personal reality, a careful study is made with an epistemology conducive to a holistic openness that would permit the harmonization of the different modes of human knowledge from the sensible and the symbolic to the purely abstract, the mystic and the beatific; and, the necessary acknowledgement of apophatic limitations, as well as the cataphatic possibilities of such knowledge.
