A transmissão da fé

O encerramento do Ano da Fé inspira a presente reflexão sobre os aspectos teológi- cos da virtude da fé, sua essência e o modo como ela deve ser transmitida, profes- sada, celebrada e vivida. Embora tenha sido extirpada da vida social pelo fenôme- no do secularismo, o autor confere à fé seu lugar central na existência do cristão e recorda a necessidade de ser propagada, como consequência de seu próprio desen- volvimento. A fé orienta para o encontro pessoal com Cristo e sua expansão está intimamente relacionada à natureza da Igreja, à qual é confiada. /// The closure of the Year of Faith inspires the present reflection on the theological aspects of the virtue of faith, its essence and the way it should be transmitted, professed, celebrated and lived. While extirpated from social life by the phenomenon of secularism, the author confers a central place to the virtue of faith in the existence of the Christian, and recalls the necessity to spread it as a consequence of its own development. Faith prepares the way for the personal encounter with Christ and its expansion is intimately linked with the nature of the Church to which it is confided.
