A intelecção e o seu objeto na polêmica do “De unitate intellectus”

O presente artigo analisa a terceira objeção do capítulo 5 do opúsculo De unitate intellectus de São Tomás. Este trecho oferece uma síntese da gnosiologia tomista e os argumentos mais importantes a respeito da unidade do intelecto. Representa também um verdadeiro marco na Filosofia Ocidental, ao precisar o objeto de intelecção e a distinção entre id quod intelligitur e in quo intelligitur, temas fundamentais no contexto do realismo moderado em comparação com as demais correntes da teoria do conhecimento. /// This article examines the third objection of Chapter Five of the opusculum De unitate intellectus of Saint Thomas. This section offers a summary of Thomist gnoseology and the most important arguments regarding the unity of the intellect. It also represents a true milestone in Western Philosophy, by specifying the object of intellection and the distinction between id quod intelligitur and in quo intelligitur, fundamental themes in the context of moderate realism in comparison with the other currents of the theory of knowledge.
